There is a terminal version as well, Vim, which works mostly the same, but inside a terminal. GVim comes with a clean, no nonsense interface by default (unlike most IDEs featured in here, GVim loads in seconds, not minutes), although with a little configuration you can turn it into anything you want it to be as GVim comes with a wealth of plugins and customization options written in VimScript or Python. We can also opt for the latest version of Nodejs binary distributions before installing this. This can be installed on our system by executing the below commands in the Terminal.
